BLUE

Brand, Sponsored Magazine and Collection,

BLUE MAGAZINE,

In this project Julie and I created the brand BLUE.  Blue stands for the changing role of the man in the current zeitgeist. Men who understand that you can show your sensitive side without this saying anything about their masculinity. The collections are based on opposing elements to show that the combination of extremes create a new power.

MaisonMargiela

Fabric Book

Concept, Font, Book and some fabrics,

MAISON MARGIELA FABRIC BOOK,

This project started of with creating my own font. For this font I used band-aid. The font it self did not turn out this special. Therefor I started looking at the way I used a normal everyday 'object' in a very new way. This brought me to the brand Maison Margiela. 

The assignment was to create a handout for a brand that fits your font. This is a fabric book based on the latest collection of MM at the time. Some of the fabrics I made myself with latex/rubber or using the vacuum pad. The white plastic bookcover has some band-aid structures imprinted which brings back the font through the whole book.

REVOLT

Concept, Brandbook, Collection, 3D Stand, Show and Give Away, by Triptych group

REVOLT TRIPTYCH,

For this project, named Triptych, I worked together as a Brander with management- and designs-students to create a complete brand within three weeks and end with a fashionshow for 1000 people. 

 

Revolt is a brand that comes alive in 2027. Because of technology and robotising there will be a leak of human contact and emotions. Revolt strives for human contact and lets you be part of a family gang. A street gang in Brooklyn,NY, was the inspiration for this brand. A street gang has a hard side, a tough side to protect them from outsiders, but a very soft loving inside for their gang members and family. 

 

Revolt is a hard and tough brand on the outside, but reveals a softer and more gentle attitude within the brand. This is visible in the collection, brand book and and 3D stand. During the event we airbrushed our "pink gang tattoo" on visitors to make our gang bigger and bigger.

The collection and 3D stand were created with zero waste, almost everything was borrowed, donated or had a purpose after the Triptych event.
